Why should I use a travel agent?

We will help you plan your vacation from beginning to end. We will do the research so you won't have to. We handle all the details of your booking, making sure that all of the documents are in order. If there is a change or update, we will notify you immediately. Our expert advice and knowledge can save you money and add value to your vacation experience.

We want to make sure you get exactly the vacation experience you want without unwanted surprises. There are countless web sites that you are able to go to and book in a matter of minutes but that's it. We want to be available to answer your questions, give advice, handle the details, and if there is a problem - solve it.

Wouldn't I get a better price if I booked online myself with one of the major online travel booking sites?

A

Not necessarily!  We can get the same prices you find online - if not better. Most of the general public does not realize that it cost no more to use a travel agent than to do it all yourself except in time (you save time using a travel agent). You can do the research yourself and book or have us do the research for you. The choice is all yours.

When you book your travel online with one of those "mega" sites you are totally on your own.  If you have a question regarding your destination who are you going to ask?  There is no contact person for you.  Instead you must do the research yourself to find the answer.  If you need to make changes to your reservation - good luck.  You will not have an advocate to make this happen and will either not be able to make changes or you will pay dearly to make changes.  If something goes wrong during your trip you are responsible to solve the problem.  In contrast, when you book with a travel agent you are booking with someone who has YOUR best interest at heart and you will have a person to contact (usually the same person) who has taken the time to build a relationship with you.  You can't get that from the internet.

Another thing you can't get on the internet is first hand destination experience.  Do you really know if the resort you booked will live up to the experience you desire?  You just booked a "run of house" room, because the price was lower.  Do you really know what a "run of house" room is at your particular resort?  Book with a travel agent and get piece of mind at not extra cost.

I see great prices for cruises advertised all the time. Why should I book my cruise through a travel agent?

A

First of all, the great prices you see are usually only available for one or two select sailings in the lowest categories. We have access to cabins at group prices which can save you money. Secondly, we can help make sure that the cruise you book is the right one for you and give you advice on what to expect and suggest possible tour excursions etc.

Do I really need to purchase trip cancellation insurance?

A

We strongly recommend the optional trip insurance. It covers if you need to cancel your trip due to illness of you or a immediate family member. You will be covered for medical/dental emergencies and emergency evacuation. It also includes missed connections, baggage delay, lost luggage, and other unforseen situations. Think of it as added peace of mind.

I am getting married and am interested in a destination wedding. Can you arrange it?

We can help you choose where you would like to have your destination wedding and make all the arrangements for you. We also can make arrangements for any guests that will be attending. We would be glad to help you with any special requests you may have.
